Should Ask Questions...

So the FAQs take care of questions that most people ask, but the SAQs are some juicy bits of info that you will want to know to get the most out of your pair of Chinelas!

Q. Why wouldn't I just use a pair of thongs or cheap ballet flats instead?

A. Thongs are a great alternative but they don't offer the same compactness that Chinelas offer - especially if you want to only use a small handbag. You might also want to wrap used flip flops in a plastic bag as will be dirty inside your bag, whereas Chinelas can be folded soles together and could go straight into your handbag or even your jeans pocket; a much cleaner and easier solution.

Ballet flats are good alternatives too but most do not have a tough enough sole that will protect your feet from glass, rocks etc, and ballet flats have completely enclosed uppers - Chinelas allow your feet to breathe too, with their funky and unique design that also keeps them securely attached to your feet! The elastic straps allow great flexibility, adjustability and comfort - just what you need to treat your feet after squeezing them into high heels all day or night!

Q. What about other foldable shoes on the market?

A. We all want the same thing - comfy feet and a fun day or night without worrying about painful shoes! Other shoes found in vending machines may not offer the same durability, longevity or comfort, and foldable ballet flats are just that - soft shoes that can be folded - you can try doing the same with any of your flat shoes that have a soft enough sole, but you won't get them as compact as Chinelas, and with soles that soft and thin, you're sure to feel ever rock or sharp object on the ground!

Chinelas offers a clever, patented design that also solves the problem that once shoes are worn, they WILL be dirty and smelly - so the best way to fold them is with the soles TOGETHER. The soles are also designed in such a way that they are thin and lightweight but also elevated from the ground so you don't feel sharp protrusions like you would with thinner soles.

Q. How do I get the most out of my Chinelas?

A. Like having a spare lipgloss or some hair accesories in each handbag is always handy, especially if you are in a rush and like to change your handbag with your outfit.

The same goes for your Chinelas, they are most useful in times of emergency, when you don't think you'll need them or forget to bring them. So why not leave a pair in the bottom drawer at work so you're safe for friday afternoon drinks.

Or try keeping a pair in your gym bag, so you can leave your trainers/sneakers in your gym locker - so you don't need to carry around a massive, heavy bag to and from work. This way you can slip on your cute Chinelas instead of wearing your trainers or stilettos home.

What about keeping a pair in a drawer at your boyfriend's or girl friend's house? It won't take up much space and will be great on nights when you get a cab home together and don't want to get back into your party outfit the next morning!

Q. How do I use the convertable bag?

A. Each pair of Chinelas comes in it's own matching bag. Pull open the drawstring and inside has a zipper pocket that you can keep your ID, lipgloss, keys etc. Once you take out your Chinelas to wear, you can stick your high heels inside the bag to carry home easily. Firstly, take the bag and turn it upside down, so that the opening with the zipper pocket is upside down. Then put the heel of your high heel shoe through the elasticated side, one on each side of the bag. Pull the drawstring up and the bag should hold your heels securely. Q. So what freebies do I get?

A. Keep in touch via the mailing list and you'll be first in line for any specials, free stuff and discounts!
